The U9 MD1 team had an incredible weekend at the St. Thomas Boston Pizza Cup Tournament, finishing on top and bringing home the championship cup!
The boys came out flying in the semifinal game, earning a dominant 6–0 victory over Oakridge Aeros with a full team effort at both ends of the ice. Strong defensive play and relentless pressure carried the momentum into the finals.
In a thrilling championship matchup against Mt Brydges, the team battled hard in a tight showdown and secured a 1–0 win to claim the title. It was a true team performance; disciplined defence, timely scoring, and outstanding goaltending sealed the victory.
The players showed tremendous effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork all weekend long.
