Hello and welcome to the inaugural season of the Elgin Thames 73's.

I am excited for the u15A tryouts!
First skate is Monday 8:15pm @ the East Elgin Community Complex in Aylmer

Please monitor the team site for any details referring to the tryout process as this will be the only communication used for the U15 A team.

Details before your first skate:

-When arriving at the arena there will be a table set up for the U15A tryout, you will receive a tryout jersey that must be returned at the end of every skate.

-A player can be signed or cut after the first skate. If the player is not successful for the A tryout you will receive your remaining skates with the Elgin Thames B team.

-We are aware that many tryouts are happening at the same time and with "no boundaries" this year, A player has to be present to at least 1 skate to be considered for the final team. (exceptions could be considered in unique circumstances and subject to ETMH board approval)

-Bring your own water bottle

-There will be association members and non team observers evaluating throughout the tryout process to give every player a fair evaluation. This info will be used by the coach in picking/removing players throughout the process.

-First skate will consist of "Skills and Drills", Second skate will be Team oriented drills (2v1, 2v2, small games etc),
Third skate will be an intersquad game. After that there will be exhibition games for the select group remaining.
